The breakfast at Hacienda La Rusa was wonderful, with great non-egg vegetarian options suggested by Janet. the hosts, Mike and Sasha, were caring and attentive, showing us around and making us feel appreciated. the bungalows were beautifully decorated, spacious, and comfortable with excellent bedding. There were various lounge areas with fans around the property, which was perfect for relaxing in the hot weather. We enjoyed playing ping pong and the availability of games and books. the overall atmosphere and beauty of the place were exceptional. Definitely one of the top 3 places we have stayed at.

great hotel, we loved it. our bungalow was good sized. near to the downtown, 5 minutes on foot. excellent base for exploring barra de potosi.

Hacienda LaRusa provided a truly exceptional experience for my wife and me. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the warm and friendly hostesses, Mike and Sasha. The breakfasts prepared by Janet were mind-blowing, with a different delicious spread every day. The Hacienda's dedication to caring for local animals is outstanding. The location was perfect, surrounded by numerous dining options and just a short walk to the beach. The Hacienda's grounds were like a hidden oasis, meticulously maintained and offering all the amenities we could ask for. Our spacious room, named "Betsey," had everything we needed, including a private balcony with a cozy couch, hammock, and stunning views. The pool area was also delightful, providing comfortable seating and a place to relax. Additionally, the Hacienda provided complimentary beach equipment, bicycles, and even a ping pong table for endless entertainment. The staff, led by Yogui and Janet, were incredibly accommodating and made sure our every request was met. our stay at Hacienda LaRusa was jaw-dropping and surpassed any other place we've ever stayed in Mexico. Highly recommended!

The breakfasts were amazing, with a different healthy and delicious option every day. the location is perfect, with easy access to the beach and many eating options nearby. - the property had beautiful gardens and pools, with plenty of nooks and crannies to relax and read.

There was some smoke from burning that occasionally settled into the room at night. Some improvements could be made to be more eco-conscious, such as more composting and recycled content products.
